REV-i > everything else

The revi-I is ugly as sin lol, and maybe the one I've shot was set up bad, but the shot quality was very unsatisfying to me lol. But to each there own, I like my timmys, others like their shockers, and you like that monstrosity lol jk

Why are you trading a shocker for a timmy... Thats your first mistake. As for him well you do appear somewhat scummy if he actually did ship. If not no harm in waiting I guess.

because they are better duh  :P haha well in all seriousness now that im getting back into the game, and going out and tearing up my local field with my old school timmy's i decided not to purchase a newer marker, and instead take on another project.  Seeing as i have two timmy's, and an autococker currently i think i will try my hand at a shocker build.

In Topic: Price Of Marq 6 Used

By any chance are they a pain to take care of? I really loved the milling and trigger on them and im not one to completely gut the gun after every day of play, I tend to clean off all the paint if there is any and grease the bolt and moving o rings before I play.

I have owned probably around a dozen gen 1 marqs in my day, and they were all super easy to maintain, and super reliable.  The only slight pain is when you have to service the regs.  The HPR is easy, but the LPR is internal so you have to take the grip frame off to get to it.  Still not that big of a deal considering you dont need to service the regs except for every 15-20 cases.  Also note while the supercharge engine give you noticeably better efficiency, it is not quite as smooth as the stock engine.

However the first marq 6 i owned was one of my favorite guns to date, and if i ever see it up for sale i will jump all over it again.  Thing was a tank, almost tippman like.  It was the type of gun i would take out every weekend and punish the crap out of it, wipe it off and then forget about it until the next weekend and it kept ticking.

not much, i wouldnt think.  im just getting back into the sport, but ive done countless intimidator builds back in my day, an i would pay above $150 for a gun like that, depending on the leak maybe even lower.

my custom built 2k5'd texas storm timmy, and an old marq6 i use to have.  Thing was buttery smooth, and was the most reliable gun ive ever owned. Like this was one of those guns you pull out of your bag, abuse it all weekend long in the mud and muck throw it back in the bag, and knew it was going to be fine the next weekend.
