Revamping my setup for 2010

27 December 2009 - 11:32 PM

Hey guys I decided to invest in some new gear for 2010 and am completely redoing my setup.

I mostly play woods ball and generally find myself playing point.

Possible Set-up:

Sp1 Blackheart
Dye Rotor
Apex Barrel
48/3000 guerrilla steely
V-force Profiliers
Some type of slider Shorts

Any advice would be cool. Specifically some inexpensive slider shorts for a skinny 5' 9" male.
I am planning on Hitting up the BST for most of this, although it seems that no one is selling sp1's so I may just have to go through smart parts.

Need some HPA tank advice

06 June 2009 - 10:47 PM

Alright here is my situation.

I am running a tippmann a-5 with stock.
I do not however run a hose to my tank I screw it right into the gun
Right now I have 9 oz and 12 oz co2 tanks which allows this setup to work for me.
They are just the right size width and length wise.

I am looking to upgrade to HPA but I still want to screw it in with the stock. What would be the shortest tank with least diameter that I could get.

Both a steely and Carbon Fiber.

For the steely I was thinking a 48 CI with a guerrilla reg
CF: Crossfire with Guerrilla reg

The other thing I was wondering about is the true output pressure of some tanks. Mike was saying in another post that certain tanks only give 700 or so PSI and that an A-5 MUST have 850+

Thanks in advance

Anyone Notice

How Mikes home videos seem of a lesser quality than the ones he does in the woods and especially those that he did filming the NPPL games.

And Im not talking about the old ones with his old camera Im saying the newer ones.

Why dont Xballers use apex barrels?

Title says it all.

Being a diehard woodsman It seems silly that you wouldn't

With an apex you will be able to hit a guy off the break with no problems, wont have to arc or anything.
Is it too rough on that brittle paint you all use or something?

flatline vs straigtline for tippmann a5

Definitely get the Apex. The thing works wonders. Its basically a flateline that is less expensive and has the ability to curve around stuff.
