Ride from Holiday Inn and CPX?

19 May 2011 - 04:37 PM

My friend and I are staying at the Holiday Inn across the highway from CPX tonight and we were wondering if we could get a ride from someone tomorrow (Friday) morning to get to the field otherwise we have to use a Taxi or shuttle service. Any help is appreciated like if anyone knows if the hotel shuttle will take us to CPX fr free. Thanks.

Grenade Launcher Final Battle

27 April 2011 - 11:11 AM

Grenade Launcher not pneumatic only elastic. CANNOT launch 400 yards as advertised is more like 300-400 feet. Put grenade in pull back launch way over the hill. Has at least the range of a standard marker more like a maxed out Apex system. Accurate to with 5 feet of target if target is visible. Accurate to within ~12 feet if not. Also depends on crew using it. We hit a man in the face moving at about 5 mph who was driving a boat too close to a swimming zone on the river at our local park. We weren't trying to hit him just his boat but got him right on the forehaed and knocked his ass DOWN.

I say we use 1 crew that needs to practice quick setup and launch (jumping in and out of cover) to launch over the hill and the most effective use I think may be a grenade at the very first rush of the final battle right into a MASSIVE pile of people. One grenade could cause dozens of kills in the first 30 seconds of the battle giving us an advantage both psychologically and by the numbers. They will be thinking "How is it possible that they nailed us so early? Who threw that grenade fucking John Elway?

BOOM! 20 men down

Tiberius Arms T9 + T9.1

05 October 2010 - 10:07 PM

So I have been swaying back and forth and back and forth about buying a Tiberius T9 or T9.1. I really can't tell what is the difference between the two specifically the Ranger model (give or take a red dot scope). I know I can save $50 by going with a T9, but I'm pretty sure there were some improvements on the T9.1. I am looking at this as a main scenario/woodsball gun with a Etek 3 that has an apex I already own. Is the accuracy and range really worth it especially in events like LL3? I twould only get used prolly like 1-3 times per year because I live in a desert and mostly get to play 3v3 and 5v5 airball but I love playing woods and scenarios. Disregard the cost of extra mags and ever using regular paint in them which is a better buy at $300 for the T9 and $350 for the T9.1?

Please Help!

Thanks ahead of time for the advice,

#1 Epic thing you did while playing LL3?

05 June 2010 - 04:03 AM

I want to hear the most epic stories of what people did to make this event so fucking amazing.

Here is my story: It was 8:55AM Sunday morning and we were about to start the 2nd major battle of LL3 Our orders were to just keep running up the left tape come hell or high water. I was running behind jdlarson and we ducked into the forest with Bryce and gordon close behind we all pushed up the left and were stopped by a single guy behind a spool.

The most epic thing I did was I screamed "Try and hit me MOTHER FUCKERS!" while running up the left tape and I got probably 150-200 feet before I finally got hit and still gordon healed me. Bryce walked up that trail with his pump like he was the fucking Terminator and it made my whole fucking day seeing that kind of team work even though we didn't make it all the way and the plan failed. We still acted as a team and tried our best.
