Team Absolute is looking for some dedicated tournament players who would be interested in joining an up and coming team! We are looking to compete in either the MSXL or MWXL D4 series for the 2012 season. We are also planning on playing PSP Chicago in the 2012 season. We are looking for people who WANT to play paintball! We try to hold practice at least every other weekend and throughout the winter we plan on having at least one practice a month either at the Paintball Plex or Asylum to help prepare for the 2012 season.

We will be holding open tryouts this coming weekend September 25th at the Paintball Barn starting at 11:00am. This is the same day that Purdue is having an organized practice out at the Barn. We ask that you come out and jump in with our line and try out while we grind it out with the Purdue team. We will be looking at ability, drive, and the desire to be on a solid team.

Team Absolute 2011 results!

4/16 - Paintball Barn 3-man: 2nd & 3rd place
5/14 - Paintball Barn 3-man: 2nd place
6/12 - Paintball Indiana 5-man: 4th place

Alright guys fall is among us and its time to start enjoying these cooler temps out @ the Barn! Its seems as if we have taken a little break whith these hot tempatures the past couple months but I'm itching to play some paintball. I would like to start to get some practices in again. Purdue is back in session so all those guys should be back out to practice with I would still like to make a trip down to PG. I think we will make the Fall 5-man @ the Hamilton County Fairgrounds our last event of the year unless anyone wants to do any other events. So lets get pumped up and finish the year with a win!

You guys playing MWXL on May 1 at the plex?

No man I don't think we are going to make that event. Our plan is to finish out the Paintball Barn spring 3-man series and do the June 5-man event down @ Paintball Indiana. Our first really big tourney may be the MSXL's Indy Open in July. Then from there we would like to try and do the last event of the MWXL @ the Badlandz at then end of September. Again this is our projected schedule and things could possibly change.

Well guys not to bad of a weekend. We ended up 2nd & 3rd in our first tourney as a team. Obviously we would have liked to finish 1st & 2nd and we were 1 and 2 coming out of prelims but a couple of mistakes in finals cost us the 1-2 finish. All we can do now is learn from our mistakes and move on to win the next event.

Hey Absolute members, my name is Shawn Collins, although I'm already with a team, I would like to meet up with you guys and maybe pick my skills up in the tournament side of paintball. I have a couple of friends that I play along side of and we have talked about trying to get to a couple of the Barn's tourney. Just a little of information, all three of us are well over 18 and have good reliable vehiles (baring and unforseen issues) and we all are employed (actually we all work together at Caterpillar). I can't speak for the other two, I'll mention to them that I've seen another group of guys with simular interests in the sport.

How often are you guys having practices and where do you all hold them at? Any information would grateful. Thank you for your time and effort.

Hey man thanks for your interest in our team. Right now our team has a total of 10 committed members w/ 3 on the scenario side and 7 on the tourney side. However there are guys on the tourney side that do play scenario too, including myself. Our home field is the Paintball Barn and we hold actual team practices every other weekend, however someone from the team is usually out there every weekend. We put two teams into the Barn tourney this weekend and ended up finishing 2nd & 3rd. We were somewhat happy with these results but expected to be 1st and 2nd. Actually we were 1st & 2nd coming out of the prelims but made some mistakes in the finals that ended up costing it for us. We plan to finish out the spring 3-man series at the Barn and then move on to some 5-man stuff. We are always looking for people to come out and play and if the desire and dedication is there we are always looking to build our team.
