Spyder VS1 Poblem

13 April 2011 - 08:11 PM

i am not really experenced with spyders and a friend gave me his spyder VS1 to look at.

when the gun is aired up you can cock it back but once you fire the bolt will stay forward, it will not kick back for the next shot. any ideas?

TechT G3 L7 Engine Upgrade

Looking at getting the TechT G3 L7 Engine upgrade. is this just install and go or do you have to adjust your board settings (dwell) right away to have it work properly?

Have to turn down an offer to be on a D4 tream

22 March 2011 - 09:43 PM

i dont know what the hell this is but i just have to let er go...

recenlty at a rec tourny i was asked if i was interested in being on a speedball team, thinking this may have been a mistake i just went with it... i have only been paintballin since the start of the year. and here i have the Manager of a Maritime Xball Team calling me asking me to be on a devision 4 team. now i know to a lot of people this may not seam like a lot, to me it means the world, nothing like this has really ever happened to me. but facccck... i have finincal commitments that i know i have coming and doing this will not allow me to go through the summer "fininacally Comfortable" so i am gonna have to turn this down not only for that but if somthing does happen i dont want to have to quit the team and let them down..... LIFE JUST SUCKS eh.... back to good old sunday walk ons.....

oh well always next year....

O-ring wear

19 March 2011 - 09:45 PM

I have a DP E-1 that is fiarly new, only have about 6 cases through it.

i played a rec tourny today. the bolt was cleaned and lubed before the tournament. when i just took the bolt out i noticed black flecks on the bolt between the 2 orings.(see below)

Facts about the gun

I use TechT Gun Sav

The former owner used Gun oil (Rifle oil)

Is this normal wear? could it be the previously used gun oil breaking down the o-rings?
i only put a half a case through it today
Am i not lubing the bolt enough?

My team took second btw :)

Cracked Loader Feedneck

16 March 2011 - 02:49 AM

While inspecting my gear i noticed that there is a crack in the feedneck of my torque loader. it is only in the outer shell part but will potentially cause issues if it breaks off. i am thinking hit it with some locktight 409 to re-fuse it then to prevent it from cracking again i am gonna sand it down a bit. i use it on a marker with a stove pipe.

i know the best option is to order a new shell but i need it ready to go for saturday to a tournament.
