I know adjusting the g6r takes some getting used to in order to find that "sweet spot". I have heard people talk about the lurker method to adjusting the g6r. If you know anything about this or if you can tell me where I can find out about it, it would be much appreciated. Thanks

g6r efficiency

07 August 2011 - 07:28 PM

I just got my g6r and from my research, I found that this is the most effient gun on the market. But no one has been able to match Bob Long shooting just over 20 pods from a single fill. I plan on using a 48/4500 tank, so my question is are there any upgrades or specific settings that would make this an even more effient set up? By the way Im not expecting to match the efficiency in his video, I just dont think its possible. Any responses to this question will be much appreciated. And if you answering from experience thats even better!

I am currently waiting for my ego 11. It is the most expesive marker that i have ever owned. I am interested in getting it laser engraved with the skull pattern from lasermygun.com. I was wondering if there was any concerns i should have or if anyone has had any problems with anything like this? One concern of mine is taking the gun completely apart for them to do their work but i have tech friends that will do this for me. Thanks in advance

over bore vs under bore barrels

01 April 2011 - 12:19 AM

I know this arguement has been going on for years but i wasnt invloved until now. so i know mike from techpb says over bore and i think his reasons were that paintballs are not consistant in size and an over bore would allow different size balls to get out of the barrel. Also he had said that if you break paint or have a dirty barrel then the ball still has a chance of getting out of the barrel. Im not sure what the rest of his arguement was, but i have one valid point against over bored barrels. I did a very simple test to see the difference for myself. I took a wider barrel and a more narrow barrel, both detached from the gun. I put a paintball in the wider one and blew the paintball out using my mouth. I then took the narrow barrel and did the same thing. The more narrow barrel used much less air to go much farther! Specificly, if its not humid (causing the size of the paintballs to be more consistant, i think) would under bored be the way to go?? Thanks for having this discussion again
