As a runner, my best advice for you would be to DRINK WATER ALL THE TIME!!!! People say drink Gatorade all the time, but it barley even makes a difference, and can sometimes hinder your running.

Also, make sure you eat healthy. If you eat like crap you run like crap. Also when it comes to running form, just run how it feels best for you. Dont try to follow the perfect form unless you want to try to

make it to the Olympics. Usually how you naturally run is whats best for you. Finally, running alone is enough to strengthen your legs. When it comes to your arms i do these things called running arms.

Grab two weights, but not very heavy ones (say 15 pounds). Now lock your arms a 90 degree angles and move them like you are running for 30-45 seconds and repeat this 3 times. These things will

help your running and give you some pretty strong arms
Just to weigh in here as a cross country and distance track runner, it depends on the situation. Of course if you jog regularly and do not consume enough calories to meet your body's needs, it will take energy from fat and muscle tissue. You will never be 'big' if you want to have endurance as well. You can choose endurance, strength, or (the best option) find a happy medium. Run a workout and then lift weights, all the while make sure you are meeting your daily caloric needs. Some of the guys on my team lift just as much as the football players and run about seven miles a day.
I did a little google searching and the cheapest you will find land in Ohio is about $2,000 per acre lol.
So do the math, lets say you buy two acres to play on... and lets say you pay $100 each time you play at your local field (which is a high number). Thats 40 plays at your local field before you break even, with only two acres of playing field.
For the cost of buying the land you could probably play nearly 1500+ times at the local field. Land isn't necessarily cheap anymore. If you already have the land its a great idea, my family used to have huge paintball parties in our woods and fields.
