The current limiting factor to the average user in the speed king contest is the board programming. Not the hopper. I have shot a rotor at 35 bps with 4 batteries in it and 30 bps completely stock. If you want to shoot really fast all you need is a UT board and a (insert top end marker). The eye timing on most boards will not allow you to get faster than 26-28 bps even with a Q loader. I have seen a Q loader shoot 35+. Then you turn the eyes off and a 15 to 25 bps cap is imposed on the marker that you can not over ride.
Its not the eyes or the hopper being in sink, its the board programming in respect to minimum back pulse timing or ball in place eye delay times that the user has no way to adjust beyond a certain point. Yes thats right, even with the eyes off there is still back pulse delay times you cant adjust that limit how fast it will cycle. Unlike the UTB. which can go up to 50 bps eyes off. And many high end markers from the past will cycle in the 30s.
The reason the record is 26 and not way higher is a lack of competition.

I cant believe no one has taken a shot at the electro. The record is pathetically low, but I see no reason to up it without competition. One day I will do the RT mechanical video but it really is no fair since I tune markers over at Vetters house. hehe. Never forget his videos are some of the fastest around at 34.5 bps rt mag, and 31 bps Excal.

I dont even have to check that one. What operating pressure were you running? If you have a normal length pin and were under 1100 psi I have you beat. The echo is going to make it a bit of a pain to check it though.
I already gold waved it with Squire and I'm pretty sure I have you beat. I'm running under 1100psi due to low air, but there is a tuning trick I used to get the BPS up there. I can do faster, but we need to tinker with the hopper first.
I would be interested to know if the tuning trick is a shorter pin with low velocity. Running the velocity lower will make it more reactive which is why he ran it at 250. There is a sweet spot related to input pressure and it looks like you found it.

Also a fourth battery will get you where you want to be with a rotor and it takes E-tape and some wire and a few seconds. I have hit 31 with a rotor and 4 batteries on a RT mag.
