First YouTube Video

19 June 2011 - 12:31 AM

So here's a video me and some cousins made today.

Pay attention to how thick the Brush is!, can you believe we Ball and Soft there?

I shall be posting reviews and other misc. Comedy this summer.

What do you wear on your hoofs?

24 May 2011 - 01:09 AM

Simple question. What do you wear on your feet when playing in the woods?

Dependant on the forest floor or the time of year I will either wear Jungle boots or moccasins. Jungle boots have great traction and ventalation but when the grounds dry they make a shitload of noise when walking.

Moccasins are light, comfortable, flexable, quiet, and easier to run in. But they don't offer very good weather protection, and leather doesn't last very long.

Bonus: when your walking across logs you can get a grip with l your feet. Walking in sand on a steep hill is a challenge though.

Mini Pinokio?

23 May 2011 - 05:38 AM

I hate big hoppers. I'm not going to beat around the bush on that one. But I love the look and swept back style of the pinokio hopper. So what are the general thoughts of a 140 round pinokio hopper?

I feel a 40% reduction in size will only be benificial for us "conservatives" and may open up a whole new market of buyers.

Some of us want a good force fed small sized hopper. Other than the home brews, will anyone step up to the plate in making us a good hopper? I ask pinokio to do it.

P.S I hope this is the right place for discussion.

Lapco Nelson Internals.

10 May 2011 - 12:02 PM

I have been a proud Phantom owner for about 4 months now and I'm starting to realize how important efficiency is when it comes to 12's.

I decided I'm going to buy a CCI spring&seal kit, bit I also decided I want some Lapco internals so I can find my Phantoms Zen.

So there I was minding my own buisness flexing my pecks when I realized that I can't find any place that sells lapco internals.

So what the hell is a fella to do? I decided I would ask the fine folks at TPB.

Phantom Mod AKA Phantoyle

02 May 2011 - 02:52 AM

I have been a recreational paintballer since about 2006. In the past 4 months I have decided to play pump. I love it. I spent a little too much time on the MCB BST section and I now own a Nelson 007, A CCI Phantom and a Tippmann SL-68. However this is not my point.

As all proud phantom owners know, our pump stroke is shakey. And I hate it. I cannot stand the wobble and it simply bothers me. I asked around to see of there was a remedy for this problem and I was told to get a "Phuzzard Mod" done to my phantom. However, I believe Mr. Cassidy was on to something when he made the closed arm.

I will not do a phuzzard mod for two reasons.
1. Dirt and grime. My main playing area is a swamp. Do the math.

2. I prefer right feed. Phuzzards and right feeds make as much sense as a hopper for airsoft guns.

So there I was minding my own buisness flexing my pecks and I realized. Why not make the phantom a duel armed pump just like the RTR Gargoyle? The only thing that would be needed to do is cut another pump arm path parallel to the current one. Drill and tap the pump handle for another arm BUT make the tolerances tighter to reduce the amount of sway.

I'm sorry for the literature. But I feel it was necessary.
