Knee Pads

15 October 2013 - 11:21 PM

I haven't done any research yet, but do you guys know of any knee pads that only have padding on the front area? I would need them to fit under a donjoy defiance knee brace, so I can't have padding on the sides where the brace is up against the side of my knees. I'm thinking volleyball knee pads might work but I haven't even looked yet. I loved my Overload pads but they are too thick on the sides. Thanks in advance

My Luck...

15 October 2013 - 11:15 PM

Freshman year, tore acl in right knee playing high school soccer. Two weeks ago, tore my acl in left leg playing rec soccer. Fuck. Me.
And I just bought an Axe for $300 in early August and haven't been able to use it yet, used my Overload knee pads once and now need to sell them cause I can't wear them with donjoy knee braces.
I'm probably going to stuck with my bum leg until mid November, and then rehab for six months. So basically, I'm going to get bent over in school for a month cause I'm in hard classes, and I'm going to be out of paintball until summer. I'm not risking anymore injuries so I'm done with sports, not paintball though.
SO FRUSTERATING.
On the good side, we bought an amazing excercise bike and an ice machine, so life should be a little easier. And there really won't be any surprises this time around, but nevertheless, this sucks so much. Plus, college apps and scholarship essays are due soon. Definetly not how I wanted senior year to go.

Empire Axe Bolt Guide Question

05 September 2013 - 08:02 PM

Hey guys, today I noticed that near the furthermost o-ring closest to the bolt, part of the metal seems to be rough. It seems like it probably got hit against the gun putting it back in, I don't really know. But when I run my finger over the oring and that metal circular part, I can feel the metal and it feels kind of rough.

Also, inside the tube (I don't know what it's called), I can see a very faint line that looks like it came from the rough part on the guide.

Is this something I should just leave alone, try to sand down myself, or call kee?

I tried to take pictures but couldn't get a very good picture. If it would help I will gladly take some more.

Thanks in advance

First pic: can kind of see the rough spot

Second pic: can see the faint line

Empire Axe Questions

17 August 2013 - 11:23 PM

Finally got an axe. Just want to check some things.
1) putting drops of oil down the asa is NOT needed, correct?
2) critical trigger pin and lurker bolt are probably the "best" upgrades?
3) how do you guys prefer the trigger? I'll tinker with it tomorrow but would like some opinions
