I don't see how that could be described as ugly.

Shame the coloured grips aren't real.

Looks like the bottomline can unscrew were you to run MATS, and the stock also comes off if you just want to shoulder the tank like a regular marker.

It wont be competing directly with the DAM - for one this is mech = no 3shot burst or eyes, for two it'll be much cheaper, for three this is a replica while the DAM is generic milsim.

This mag system is great, I'd love to see Tiberius do an electro version which could also work sans battery like the crossover. I'm not about to buy a magfed without eyes after seeing the issues all the guys round here are constantly having with their magfeds. Chop central no matter how much they spend. Paint here is rubbish which doesn't help.

Once it has a hopper and tank on it actually starts to look pretty good, because the visual weight around the reg is balanced by the hopper. The main reason people don't like it is that it's different to what they're used to, not that it's actually ugly. Take a modern car back to the 1950s and almost everyone will hate it - that don't make it inherently ugly.

Regardless, if you want to swap out the swivel and ASA and run macro it will look like this:

So get this, you're not going to believe it.

Turns out the guy who runs the milsim group I've mentioned here is also the boss of 3D modelling at Weta (who made LoTR etc.), with 160 staff under him.

Turns out I'm a 3D modeller who's been trying to get in there for ages.

Turns out he heard about this thread and is seriously pissed at me, and now I'm probably not going to be able to get a job there even though they're hiring because I've pissed off the management.

Yay me. How the hell was I supposed to know? Life's an utter bitch huh.

That said, it also turns out that they all wear sealed goggles and the unsealed glasses thing isn't actually the case. Given that sealed AS goggles are fine for stopping a PB, I guess I have far less of an issue with them than I did. Personally the only mandatory protection is eyes - ears and mouth hurt and can cause damage but to nowhere near the same extent.
