So, what did you learn at your ll5 experience that you will do or not do at ll6???

Goggle glare

23 May 2012 - 11:12 AM

I have 09 events with a mirrored chrome lens, and the glare is awful. i know that most of the glare comes from the sun shining through the slits right above the lens on the events.
I know that the visor fixes it, but the events look stupid with the visor, and I have seen pro players tape over the top of the slits, but I'm afraid that it might fog or get really condinsated in the mask if i do that.

Does anyone have any suggestions, or have tried using the tape method??

lighter barrel

10 May 2012 - 11:18 AM

I know a lot of people buy carbon fiber barrels, and lighter barrels. I also know that a lot of people think that barrels don't affect accuracy, and I'm kinda on the same page.

But wouldn't a heavier barrel reduce "recoil" and a lighter one make more "recoil", considering the weight of a heavier barrel would counteract the ball's kinetic energy going down the barrel? And wouldn't a longer barrel be slightly more accurate?

Please don't get all defensive, I'm not saying your opinion is wrong, I'm just asking a question. And please support it with facts, rather than just saying yes or no because of your own personal experience. Thanks
