In Topic: Is the vlocity still a super loader?

18 July 2012 - 10:11 PM

I would still consider it a super loadaer. what defines super loader, over $100 or able to feed 50 bps when everything is capped ad 12.5. its light and works amazing if you take care of it so yea its still a super loader. :)

best bet is to go to a store who has people that know autocockers and see if they can help because if they've owned autocockers most likely they will own a valve tool.

In Topic: stripped screw help!

didnt know how to explain drilling out a screw so look at this

Drill out the entire screw as a last resort, and only if the screw is holding together metal objects
. If all else fails, it is possible to drill out the existing screw with a power drill and bit of the same size as the screw's shaft. This will most likely remove the existing thread. Possible solutions at this point:

  • Replace old screw with a self-tapping (thread-forming) screw of slightly larger size.
  • Use a nut and bolt instead. If desired, weld the nut to one of the metal objects to create a stationary, threaded mount.
  • If the screw was large enough, install a HeliCoil insert.
