At this point, I'm just tired of hearing about it. Figure it out or call the while thing off, but make a decision.

I don't see why the can't do what football and baseball did. Keep two separate leagues, and have the top teams from each meet for a championship game. Like the super bowl of paintball.

When they play cross-league games, just use a hybrid format that compromises and doesn't put the either team at a disadvantage. Eventually both leagues will gravitate toward this unified rule set, and you will essentially have one league, with two divisions.

It's a pipe dream, I know. But it's better than the crap they are pulling right now.

Why a cascade why not all 3k, always wondered that

Because filling from a scuba tank isn't like filling from a compressor station.
All you're really doing is equalizing pressure between the two bottles.
As soon as you begin letting air flow from the scuba tank into the paintball tank, the pressure in the Scuba tank will start to drop and won't stop dropping until the pressure in both bottles is equal.
With a cascade system, you're connecting multiple scuba tanks together, effectively making one big tank, so the potential fill pressure stays higher, longer.

That's not quite how a cascade system works.

They don't act as one big tank. The first bottle does the main fill, taking most of the drain (bringing you tank to, lets say 2500). Then the next bottle gets tapped, but it doesn't have as much to fill because you are starting with your tank at 2500, so it takes smaller hits and it's pressure stays higher, for more fills. Doing this increases the number of near 3k fills you can get off of a set of bottles.

Basically, the first bottle does most of the work, and loses the most pressure doing it, the second and third bottles are for topping off.

Tool kit and Spares.

I would be seeing red if my gear crapped out on me halfway through the day. So I always bring a full tool kit (with parts), and backup gear.

I've got a picture on the way. It's just going to take me a while to get it done.

I can't speak for anybody else, but I fully plan to have my picture up by the deadline.
