Is this a good setup?

09 April 2012 - 12:20 AM

Tomorrow I'm going to be depositing $200, afterwards I plan on buying equipment online with my debit card. I plan on buying an Azodin Kaos set that comes with a cheap mask, loader, pods, harness, squeegee, and a 20oz. CO2 tank. Believe me when I say that I don't want to use CO2, but the closest place to refill a HPA tank is 6+ hours there and back. Plus a scuba tank is way outside of my budget. Anyways, along with that set I plan on getting a Primo Proto Hopper, VForce Pro Vantage, and a 14" Autococker threaded Apex2 barrel. My only questions are: is there a better NON-electric hopper, is the Apex2 barrel really worth the price, and what are some really good barrels for around $30 or less? Please, any help would be greatly appreciated!

VForce Pro Vantage vs. VForce Armor

Is one better than the other, fog-resistance wise?

vForce Armor vs. vForce Pro Vantage

07 April 2012 - 05:49 PM

I live in West Virginia, and I play recreation/woodsball about every other week spring-summer and maybe once every three weeks through fall. I don't play often at all, and I almost exclusively play in warm/fair weather (spring-mid fall). I'm on a tight budget so naturally I want to get the Armor because it's cheaper (half the price of the Pro Vantage by half - $18). But would upgrading to the PV be worth the extra $15-$20? Is the PV's anti-fog coated lens any better? Will it last longer? Is it more breathable? Is it more comfortable? Let's say I do get the Armor, how could I make it last longer and/or make the anti-fog lense as good or better? I'm a complete newbie and I want to save as much money as possible. And maybe some tips on maintaining a mask please. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated!

What are some good, cheap gloves?

07 April 2012 - 03:19 PM

I live in West Virginia, so I want durable, somewhat thick and durable, gloves. I have a budget of about $10; I can spend more, but they're gloves. I'm not really sure if I want specific brands, but just something to look for. I'm 16 and have small-medium sized hands if that helps at all. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated!
