Building a Reg Tester

25 July 2013 - 03:36 PM

I have gone through and read/watched Pumpenstein's as well as Socrate Jones' guides regarding building a reg tester, and both seem to go the route of using a slide check to test the recharge rate of the regulator. But wouldn't an on/off asa be a good substitute for a slide check, maybe even something that has a lever that you can move on and off very quickly like that found on the Empire Sniper's asa? Or would putting the asa on the (off) position make it leak like no tomorrow until turned back on?

Battery Life

Does anyone know around how many cases the Viewloader Revolution gets on a pair of 9v's? I say this because I'm getting the JT Revolution for my pump and it's supposed to be a direct remake.

JT Revolution

20 May 2013 - 01:50 PM

I'm currently looking to switch from the sportshot to a 200 round hopper on my T2 so I don't need to carry a pod pack when I'm on the field. First I tried the Proto Primo. I don't mind the size but I didn't really like it because it seemed like I needed to shake it often (Not as much as say a normal shake-n-shoot but a little more than the sportshot). Plus the lid actually popped open during play when I raised my gun while being eliminated, spilling half a hopper of paint in the process. It might have been my luck with it but that's what it was, and when you don't have a podpack on during a match then that lost paint is a real problem.
I've heard great things about the old Revy and the JT Revolution popped up in my field's store. It's about $40 but since I work there I get a discount, plus I don't have to pay shipping. How are the shells on these, and are they always on like the CAT or do they work like the original? I don't really mind the batteries because they seem to last forever if you use it just for pump, and it would be a big plus knowing that every shot I make is going to feed into the marker. Thanks guys

What gun is this?

17 February 2013 - 09:03 PM

Well a good friend of mine was going through some of his dad's old things and found this beautiful piece. I don't know too much about old guns, and I figure it's older than we are (18). Any idea what it is?
