Why not buy from some place in Canada?

Some people think that the U.S gives a better discount they dont realize that you have to pay in USD not CAD

Things are much cheaper in the states than they are here (in Canada). Our dollar is near par yet prices are not. This is a definite fact.

I've ordered a few products from the states and have only been charged when it's been shipped via UPS or FEDX. Avoid them if you can.

I don't know how close to the border you are, but there are companies that you can ship your package to right across the line that will charge you a $5 fee and you can just go there and pickup your package. You would save on shipping and you can just go grab your product and bring it back yourself. I do this all the time and don't generally get charged duty, but even if you do, it's worth it because you won't have the huge shipping charge.

Good idea, I live in Toronto. So I'm kinda close

Aren't there paintball shops in Toronto? Why buy from US, unless it's a really obscure part you need...otherwise stick to buying within Canada, yes you will pay the tax, but it's infinitely better than paying for shipping, because only Continental US gets that 100$ FREE SHIPPING discount, and on top of that, they usually ship via Fedex, or UPS, which will charge you almost 1/4 or of the value of the product if not more when it's valued more than 20$, anything under that, its free....as for USPS they charge you a flat rate 5$.......

A market pricing would enable newcomers, selling or buying a general idea of how much a used/mint/bnib marker would cost.

It could be disadvantage to the seller, having people try to low ball stating that the list says "${:content:}quot;, but at the same time it would also prevent a noobie seller from overpricing their marker. Likewise people who are new to paintball have no idea how much marker's going rates are, the list would allow them to make better investments.

At the end of the day, whether or not seller/buyer agree upon a transaction won't be BECAUSE of a list, it would be because of a number of variables; Comestic wear, function, trend, style, color, original packaging, shipping, upgrades, extra lube, orings, stickers, quality, brand, the time of the year, season, whether or not they have a game coming up, the amount of funds on hand, parts and equipment in stock, rumors about the marker's performance, good reviews about the marker from friend/TechPB/forum, the popularity of the marker, the edition of the marker...etc.... An ENDLESS list of variables....

So, a list that would help give a general idea of what the marker is worth doesn't stop people from considering further a transaction, the list does not equal to a red button which once pressed automatically makes a deal happen at said price....

People aren't stupid, just because a list says something does mean you have to follow it, it's a guide nothing more and nothing less, it will just be a lot of work to keep updating the prices, but at the end of the day it's on you whether or not you believe and trust the pricing on that list and or whether or not you feel like you must bow or rebel against that list, it's your marker, it's your money........

If you feel a list is such a disadvantage because it will drive the prices down, you can just sale your marker somewhere else, or not sale it at all, or ignore the list and insist on your own price.....its supply and demand, if your price is too high no one will buy it, that's the simple result of alot markers on the bst.......

I almost forgot, the Picture of the marker you're selling makes a huge impact, I see some markers going at a fair price, but the picture quality is complete garbage, can't see shit, it's either completely pixellated or the picture was taken in complete darkness, some pictures make you go to photobucket which is just as bad, it tries to make you create an account or your browser says that it can't display the picture because of some flash/plugging/account error crap....all of that is extremely detrimental to the buyer/seller, people like to see what they're buying, if they can't see it, it doesn't matter if the BST format is followed, people would generally stay away and not make an offer simply because they can't see if the marker is scratched or something, sometimes i can't even tell what color scheme the marker is......while the BST selling format keeps things clear and simple, the rating is VERY subjective......

but yeah, I VOTE YES FOR A LIST!

Knee pads will save you from going into the hospital...get gloves.....really need gloves to save your palms when you trip and fall flat on your hands and knees.......

Get the kind of knee pads that has a hard plastic surface, like the ones that the swat uses, I find that they're more durable and invincible when you're kneeling on some sharp rocks when taking cover, you don't feel a thing and the padding is comfortable...find them on EBAY, they're like 16$......get some gloves as a combo while you're at it, might as well save on shipping....

Depends which clone version it is

Geo 2 might not be THE most efficient out of the choices, but it shoots smooth and it looks good. It doesn't try to look fancy or stylish like the Dye NT or the DM, its got a simple look, but I think less is more, and its got a smaller profile....and the clone reminds me of...an Cadillac....

I think it's good because it at least gets the kids interested and to try. They won't think too much about the pain. It's when they go to the field that they'll learn about proper safety and technical details.

Anybody watched the episode of the BIG BANG THEORY, where they only wear eye goggles, and they were using bt 4, maybe even some tippmanns.....and then sheldon get's martyred......
