X Radar Chrono

13 October 2011 - 02:10 PM

I just bought a used X-Radar Chronograph from BST but it doesn't seem to be working. When the button is pushed the screen displays J.-.- and just shows unreadable stuff after firing a gun with it. Is there anything I can do to fix this or is it shot?

Here's a picture of the button being pushed without firing anything.

eXTCy asa oring getting chewed up

28 September 2011 - 02:30 PM

Anyone else experience their on/off asa oring on the eXTCy getting chewed up? It seems every time I turn the asa in to air up the gun, part of the oring gets chewed off by something. It doesn't seem to happen without a tank on. I've had 3 orings now that this has happened to. Luckily there's somehow no leak even with badly mangled orings, but it still worries me.

When I just put a new oring on and aired the gun up, it was actually leaking out of the asa when it was fully turned in, so I backed it out a small bit then turned it back in and the leak was gone. I'm pretty sure this happened with the last fresh oring as well. I'm guessing I just got an asa that wasn't properly finished and the orings are catching on something and getting torn. It doesn't make sense how there's a leak, then it's gone, and there's also no leaks even with completely shot orings.

Dye Rhino 70ci on 68 tank?

Just wondering if the Dye Rhino 70ci tank cover will fit on my Ninja 68/45. I'd think it would, but wasn't sure if it was shaped differently or anything.

Never mind, I think I've fixed my problem. Can delete this post if necessary.

Burst Disc and Bonnet

14 August 2011 - 07:33 PM

I have a few questions after running in to issues with my new gun (gog extcy) and tank (ninja 68/45). I'm having issues with leaking and somehow managed a major leak while messing with the asa and screwing the tank in, losing almost all of the 3k psi that was in the tank. Since I was a bit frantic when it happened, I'm not sure of everything that went on, but I'm pretty sure that I unscrewed the asa on/off and let the gun and tank sit on the ground while it continued leaking. There seemed to be leaking from at least one the bonnet screws when this happened, although I've hooked the tank back up briefly with no leaks from the bonnet screws and had none prior to this one incident. Is this something I should be concerned about? Do I need to attempt to take the regulator apart and fix stuff? Also, how can you tell if a burst disc ruptured. I don't think mine did, but since I'm not sure how to tell, I can't be certain. There is still some air in the tank, but I don't know how much since the gauge reads 0.

Almost forgot, when I lost that almost 3k psi, the asa and bonnet got wet and cold. Would this affect anything or indicate an issue?
