I have been very interested in the Clone VX, but there are a few things that are making it difficult in deciding whether or not to actually purchase one myself. I like that it is not a total gas hog and the fact that not everybody and their mother shoots one, but there are those things that keep floating around in the back of my mind.
First and formost is the trigger. I hate bad triggers and have heard bad things about them. I loved the operation of my demon, but the trigger was just horrific so I sold it. I know there are VP triggers available, but I know aftermarket triggers are sometimes only as good as the marker will allow. So is the Clone w/ the VP trigger at least as good as a stock Bob Long?
My second issue is reliability. The engine on the Clone VX does seem fairly complex and I know complexity can sometimes lead to issues. I always clean and re-lube my markers after each time I take them out and do all the tech-ing myself, but want to know if these things are bomb-proof if kept in optimum condition after every day of play.
Also as just about zero people have a Clone around where I play I have never had a chance to actually shoot one or even see one shot. Do Clones suffer from any FSDO as some spools do?
So here in lies my question. For what I look for in a marker is the Clone a good choice or should I look elsewhere (Lux, Geo, etc)?
I would love to see a video of some of the smaller companies high end guns. I love less popular markers and would really like to see a review on some of the new entries into the high end marker field. I know you did a vanguard demon unboxing, but a how about a review. Thanks!
SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD!!!! This is for an almost brand new Empire Axe. It is completely stock (but come with some Kohn custom grips) and the marker is in 9.5/10 condition. I was my backup marker and only shot maybe 2-3 cases through it right when I got it. Just re-cleaned and lubed it to make sure it was in tip top shape.
It comes with everything it came with in the box (barrel, parts box, quick start guide, DVD guide) except the barrel condom which I loaned to someone and never was to see it again.
Asking price $400 and will I will entertain trades, but am really looking for cash.

I have owned many different markers (most of them timmies) and currently own a G6r and an Axe for my backup marker. I'm thinking of upgrading my Axe to a Demon. I have shot inline popits (Axe and Victories) and stacked tube poppits, but very few spoolies (the only being a Luxe) and wanted to try one out. I love the macro-less design of the Vics, G6rs, and the Luxe, but want something a little different. I know Vangaurd sponsors Avalanche with Creed and Demon markers so they most be pretty good guns. I'm just wondering about others experience with the markers or more information and views about them.
