Right, but if your fps is more consistent, that helps accuracy... And I never said the paint would be the exact same shape, but anything that helps keep the paint a more uniform shape as it leaves the barrel means it's more likely to group shots better.

Meh, I could care less about accuracy anyway. I prefer accuracy by volume.

At least this thread has established one thing: There are benefits to an aftermarket barrel.

How did you come up with that conclusion? It is because of Punkworks testing that we know that paint is the only important factor. Your conclusion doesn't even make sense scientifically.


So if paint is the only factor, then an underbore is the best option because it squeezes the paint into a more consistent shape as it exits the control bore.


Never got an answer to this one before all the panties got twisted.
