Stereotypical Bolt Stick

06 March 2012 - 08:22 PM

Hey guys! So I have a DP G4 and of course everyone thinks I made a mistake in buying this marker over some other low end electro...but I have the stereotypical bolt stick that the g4 is famous, or infamous, for.

When I took it out of the box, I immediately changed the lube to hater sauce and shot the thing a few thousand times with no problem. Now as the weather has become extremely cold, I have been having some frustrating bolt stick problems. Whenever this happened, I would take the bolt out, clean it off and relube, and the marker would do fine for an hour until it started sticking again.

My question is, would raising my dwell a few milliseconds solve this problem? I'm okay with a drop in efficiency if I can actually shoot my marker. Also, does anyone have any other suggestions for this problem (other than "get a new marker" lol).

Being a lone wolf

04 March 2012 - 01:35 AM

Hey guys...

I usually go balling with my best friend, we've been playing together for about a year now, but he recently got into some trouble, so i have to go lone wolf this weekend. i've never really gone to a field by myself, so I was wondering if you guys have any suggestions on how to "survive" the day on my own...

Obviously I know i'm just going to play, and I already stress not starting any shit on the field, Ive always been a level headed guy, im just wondering if theres any way to make the day less awkward off the field!

Sorry for the stupid and vague topic, I'm just a little bit edgy because im doin something im not used to

How to treat a group of friends to paintball

15 February 2012 - 10:50 PM

This weekend my friend and I, who are really into paintball, are bringing some of our friends, including both girls and guys who have never played paintball, to the field.I just want to hear some input on how we (my friend and I) can treat our friends to a really fun time while still being challenged ourselves. We have already informed everyone about what to wear and what to expect, and we have collected all our extra gear and some coupons for our field, so everyone should be getting a good deal.
We have discussed maybe committing to one finger and one balling all day, and focusing on each other during the games and snap battling...stuff like that.

Anyways, yeah, any suggestions please?

So I was messing with a Bic lighter while I was watching T.V., mindlessly lighting it and putting it out over and over again.

For some reason I decided to let a flame chill for like 3 minutes strait, so the next time I go to light it I literally hear a "sssssssssss" sound for a split second before I realize what had just happened...

I Burned the Shit out of my thumb!

Dickhead pump player...

07 January 2012 - 07:45 PM

Today I was having a great day of paintball until I encountered a massive dick. (lolz)

This pump player was really good, but really old school. We were playing on a car field when I first realized how rude he was. This man was the first pump player I have met that wasn't extremely humble or polite.

I was behind a bunker and he shot me in the mask...a fair elimination. My teammate asks me where he is at, so I tell him, "He's up in the big van, shooting from the insi..." when i get shot in the neck, ear, and thigh by the pump player. I look at hiim and scream "what are you doing?" and he says, "dead men don't f**king talk!" I tell the ref and he sort of brushes it off as not a big deal. Then, as the game was coming to a close, there was only one person left on our team, while the pump player and two others were left on the other team. They begin to rush up on our player, so the ref blows the whistle and calls the game over. The pump player still runs up to the bunker, looks at my teammate, and shoots him in the face. The ref then yells at the guy, who argues back that "mask shots don't hurt, I didn't bunker hiim with 20 balls or something". Asshole. He then continued to whine about me talking about him after I was eliminated to his friend while I walked right behind him.

Then, in another game my friend got bounced off the dome by the pump player, and the pumper started screaming at him about being out even though it bounced. He tells the ref that he was wrong multiple times, and then says, "Oh it bounced? I saw it bust on your head! Yeah okay we'll see about that next time." in a threatening, assholey tone.

TL;DR: A pump player acting like a 5 year old can ruin a great day of paintball.
