Topics I've Started

WTB Geo 2 or 2.1

08 December 2013 - 07:01 PM

short and sweet. I'm looking for a geo 2 or 2.1 preferred. (if you have a geo 2 with the pops asa i count that as a 2.1) looking to spend around 500-550 and no higher. I really like the Ashes color combo and Hunter color combos. Unique colors are what I'm looking for but not too picky. Just no purple... Would like it to come with manual and stock barrel. Really if it came with the gun new, that's what I'm looking for.

Geo 2 vs ego 10 vs Axe

08 December 2013 - 06:19 AM

Going to keep this short and sweet. Which is better for the price, used geo 2, ego 10 or axe. You can find used geos and egos for under 500 if you shop around a bit and the a new axe is 469-525. Which is better for the price. I have a feeling it's going to be between the geo and ego but you never know.

AXE vs Reflex Rail

03 December 2013 - 01:04 AM

Okay so here's my preferences. Im looking for a comfortable marker, something I can play with all day and not be sore by the end of the day. I like the feel of nice smooth shots, (thus the etek was eliminated)

Air efficiency doesn't mean a lot to me as we have unlimited air refills and I don't play every single game. I would just like the tank to make it through the game (I know both of them would).

Everyone says the CS of empire is amazing but I wouldn't need it if the gun didn't break.

Brings us to the next thing, I like taking apart my markers and cleaning them so maintenance shouldn't be an issue with the Rail. I know the axe doesn't have a lot of user serviceable parts in it which is a huge drawback to me.

I also like knowing the Proto has Dye technology backing it. All of my friends play with PE and empire guns and say Dye is crap because one of them had a DM7 that the board went out on. So they kept pushing me to look into the axe, and here we are.

Also, I would like to compete in tournaments so which marker would be more suitable for D5/D4/D3 tournaments

Which do you think would fit me better. One last thing, I appreciate the little things like colored O rings and an actual manual.... and a case...

Etek 4 VS Reflex

23 November 2013 - 04:35 PM

Hey guys, im contemplating between the Etek 4 LT/AM and the 2014 reflex rail. I dont mind either poppet or spoolie. Also is it worth getting the AM over the LT. My friend had an etek 3 LT and he cracked it so im not to sure. What are the pros and cons to each marker and experience from anyone who has owned either of the markers.

Etek 4 VS AXE

14 November 2013 - 09:23 PM

Time has come to buy a new marker. I'm getting more into tournaments so I'm looking for something more competitive. Its between the Etek and AXE. Now before all of you shout axe, tell me something other than the trigger and the fact pro teams used it (which is only because there sponsor forced them too). The Etek is a mini Ego and it has FAR better packaging. I don't care how loud a gun is when you don't really notice it in game. Also another competitor MIGHT be the proto reflex rail but i dont think so. I like poppets. Also I don't care how fast you can take out the Axe bolt, it will never be as easy as pulling up on the Etek bolt and sliding it back. You may be reading this and think "he already has his mind made up on the Etek" you would be almost correct except for the fact my friends brother has an axe and i admit it felt good in the hands. I havent held or shot an etek yet and one guy at the field had an etek 3 that was super messed up. (he said it was a year old but that doesnt make sense since they made the Etek 4 last year). That why im debating this.
