As it stands, we have been extremely busy with other services in the park, and have not been able to focus on the paintball field as of late. However, now that our Memorial Day and Beach Blast events have come and gone, we should now be able to devote resources and time back into the paintball program.

Please, stay tuned!

Thank you!

In Topic: Empire Axe Vs. 2013 Proto Reflex Rail

Biased opinion incoming, but, if at all possible, pick up a Proto Matrix 7 or 8, I own an 8, and I absolutely adore it.

The Proto Matrix line was discontinued around the PM8 (Correct me if I'm wrong), mostly due to the fact that the PMs were just a much cheaper DM, and were "almost" equal in terms of reliability and performance, and began outselling the Dye Matrix marker.

The new PMR uses a much different air system than the Matrix line (Once again, correct me if I'm wrong), and from what I have heard, people who have owned a Matrix and have experience with using a PMR have said that the PMR is not as smooth a shot as the Matrix nor is it as air efficient as the Matrix.

Like I said, this is a biased opinion, but, the Proto Matrix line shoots better and costs much less than a 2012 / 2013 New, but, you'll only find used Proto Matrix's, obviously. Buying from either a user on Tech PB or Trademygun.com should be just fine, though.

Good luck!

In Topic: Best Paintball gun for under 350$

Personally, I have felt/used the crossover, and I wasn't all too impressed.

Now, as for the "new" version of the Crossover that's been mentioned above, I have 0 experience with, but, with the orig. Crossover, the trigger was just too clunky and weighted.

I picked up a PM8 used, and haven't regretted it since, use it with Freak Barrel and just a 68/4500 and a Halo Too, and I absolutely adore it, probably one of the smoothest shooters out there.

So, if you're looking for a good tourney gun that isn't too cost effective, grab yourself a PM8 if you can.

If this is still up, I'd like to know how low you'd be willing to go on the Rotor.

Thanks again! =D
