How much longer is a 77/4500 than a 68/4500?

Resurrection Autococker

26 January 2014 - 05:51 PM

I have got to spend time shooting this gun.  I have to admit I love it.    It just feels right for me when I shot it.    One thing is holding me back from buying it and that is I am worried if I am going to be overwhelmed when I have to work on it.    My experience working on guns is pretty much limited to my Phenom and an Extcy.  I have no trouble working on them but they are pretty simple to work on,   So is how hard is an Autococker to actually work on?  How often does it need to be maintained?

New Hopper and Gun Question

15 January 2014 - 11:49 PM

I am going to be picking up a second gun and a hopper to go with my Phenom.     I have a couple of questions

1.  Hoppers.  My daughter has a Pinokio Hopper the thing works great and  never Jams.  What real advantages to the other Super Loaders have over it?   What am I gaining for the extra cost of the other super loaders?

2. The second marker is going to be a speedball style marker.   After watching my daughter with her Extacy over the last year it seems great. It is a quiet great shooting gun.  What would I really be gaining for the money on the more expensive markers?

Please leave used out of the equation I understand the deals you can get on used markers.  Some great deals.   However I get $1000 dollars worth of shopping points from work that I can use at stores that sell just about any new paintball marker I could want.   So basicly I have up to a $1000 budget I could spend if I really wanted to.  But even with it being free money I am tring to figure out how much a truly gain over for a higher end marker.    It is all moot if I talk myself into getting the new Autococker I love that thing. But I am tring to decide I really even need that.

For help I mainly play rec ball and really enjoy scenerio games.   I play some xball from time to time but nothing but for fun.  I am keeping the Phenom to I love how that gun shoots.

Big game fun

10 November 2013 - 06:32 PM

Our field had it's yearly big game yesterday with a weather forecast of 10% chance of rain.  So of course it rained.  It was my first time to play in the rain and I had a lot of fun.  My daughter used the nose cone on her Pinoko so she wouldn't have to care a pod pack.  It was kind of funny because the big hopper with all that paint was freaking some people out before the game.   Ironicly she was playing a medic so shooting paint wasn't her primary goal.

I got to sneak around shooting people form behind.   I wish I had a camera for that took out 10 people that never knew were the shoots came from.   Our side lost but we had fun the whole time.

Who else loves big games?!?

D-Day or Living Legends?

So if you could only do one which one would you go to and why?   I plan on going to one or the other next year D-Day is a much closer drive.  But I would like to see what others think.
