Make sure you have extra replacement o-rings.  If you start to run into bolt stick replace all the o-rings before going crazy.

Thats also a good way to make some cash if you know what parts/service are needed ahead of time and if you have the capital. Friend of mine made like $500 flipping quitting sales one summer... (buying multiple Rotors at a time for ~$50 a piece tends to do that)

I made over a G buying broken tube amplifiers for guitars, fixing and flipping them last year.

I just think buying them and fixing them vs repairing someones marker that you have never met is a better option than having to buy someone a new marker for a scratch or something else.

Are you charging these people for labor?

Are we getting new threads with every marker you get?   :)  (Not enough new threads here recently, keep them coming)

I might go a different route, for the reasons another listed above.  With each thread they would have a lot of evidence against you.

Maybe buy broken guns and fix, then sell?  That way there is no liability for "damaged while drilling eye cover" and you owe him a new DM14 after he's done getting damages.

If you lived in California you'd be buying him a house.  Damn lawyers.
