Ohh man... someone from HK posted this in the thread @ PBnation:
I just wanted to clear the air a bit, as we've noticed BK feels we copied their harness. That's not the case. The visual similarities between both harnesses are due to our design team having developed that aspect for their harness. Our team worked on the pod holster design/detail, compressed foam canister body and head, rubber detailing and general exterior design... so, naturally our finished product would have the same esthetic. We just feel it's a bit unfair for them to publicly renounce our participation in the development of the BK harness and say we copied their concept. We have documents, email chains and design files to dispute this.
If you take a look at the timeline of events, we worked with them when they were a freelance development team to deliver a speed feed and ball breaker to the market. The harness was the next project in line. There was a falling out because they resurrected BK and ran with our collaborative harness design. Now we are made to look like the bad guys after we decided to move forward with our exterior design, yet introduce a completely different operating system. If they were playing fair, they would have changed the exterior design and parts I previously mentioned before launching their product. The difference is that we would prefer to take the high road and not publicly slander them for using our exterior design concepts.
Our Zero-G harness operates with a Tension Control system which functions completely different from their's. We made certain there are no functional similarities or patent infringements. Aside from the fact that both harnesses are strapless, nothing else is similar in terms of how it operates. If you'd like to learn more about how our Zero-G harness works, please reference our HK Army Tech video on YouTube.

At the end of the day we wish BK the best and look forward to everyone's feedback on the new Zero-G. If you're coming to PSP World Cup, be sure to stop by and check it out for yourself.
