if you want it to look like you have a silencer just use a apex barrel with apex tip it will look the same but will actually do something for you performance wise

Yes, that will work. Just leave the "apex affect" switch set to "0" and you have the look without the affect.

problem fixed i dremeled the ring off and screwed the reg off . what do i do with the filter?

You dremeled WHAT ring off??? The "C" clip holding on the bottom cap?

The CO2 filter? If you don't use CO2 then you can just throw it out.

If you cut off the "C" clip...how do you plan on reinstalling the bottom cap?????? You will need another one......

I think you guys are misunderstanding what I mean......

Smaller paint doesn't break at the same distance as the 68 cal paint. It's lighter and has less mass...

That means you either:
1. have to close the distance between players [smaller fields/overall size]
2. Ramp up the fps to engage targets at the same [current] field sizes [so that breaks can actually occur at those distances]

...but #2 becomes an issue when the players are in close proximity to each other. Mask lenses aren't rated/insured/protected [legally] for paint speeds over 300fps.
That becomes a safety issue.

and you can't use "chilling paint" as an option because not everyone does it...nor should they have to.

and you can't use the "10' rule" either because I know there are as many fields who DON'T post or even enforce that rule, as there are fields who do.

Standards are just that...set so that everyone is the same, given the same [general and reasonable] conditions.

If League ballers/competitors want to use it in a closed course, I'm fine with that. If back yard ballers want it for their little renegade/outlaw games...I'm fine with that too.

What I'm against is manufacturers going "mainstream" with this crap so as to force EVERYONE to have to go out and buy new gear. There's no reason I should have to replace my 2 Mags, 68 Magnum, SP1, 3 Ions, M98, Angel, SplatMaster, A5......and all other gear that runs them [save pods and pod packs]......for what? A bunch of panzies that need to make profits on those new sales? Screw them [meaning the companies jumping on this band wagon]. Their profit margins are not my concern...nor should I have to suffer for their greed.

I'd also like to add that if players feel this hobby is too expensive for them [as a general statement]...slow down [your CPS rate] and actually try to aim the damned thing...or qut and find another hobby.

I [and everyone else dedicated to 68 cal paint/gear] shouldn't have to suffer because you can't afford to play. [that's a general statement...it's not directed at anyone in this thread].
