Well if you are getting the new window issue it is based on your browser (IE) if you use FireFox it will open in a new tab. I will see if I can find a bandaid for the IE users as soon as I can.

Thanks for your continued support.

The new window also happens with Chrome and Safari. So it's more like it ONLY works properly on Firefox.

I believe I know why.

I was looking through the source code for the home page and found this:
<li><a href="http://techpb.com">Home</a></li>
				<li><a href="http://www.techpb.com/forum/" rel="me" target="_blank">Forum</a></li>

As you can see, the Home hyperlink is standard (opens in same window) but the Forum hyperlink has target="_blank" which tells it to open in a new window. Just change the code to this:
<li><a href="http://techpb.com">Home</a></li>
				<li><a href="http://www.techpb.com/forum/">Forum</a></li>
and it should open in the same window.

If you want you can give me admin privileges and I can make the change for you ;)

EDIT: Btw, all your navigation links, besides the Home link, are set to open a new window:
<ul class="sf-menu menu clearfix">
				<li><a href="http://techpb.com">Home</a></li>
				<li><a href="http://www.techpb.com/forum/" rel="me" target="_blank">Forum</a></li>
<li><a href="http://www.techpb.com/forum/Index.php?showforum=985" title="Buy Sell Trade" target="_blank">BST</a></li>
<li><a href="http://myworld.ebay.com/techpbstore/" title="Our Ebay Store" target="_blank">TechPB Store</a></li>
<li><a href="http://www.techpbchat.com/" title="24/7 Chatroom " target="_blank">TechPB Chat</a></li>
<li><a href="http://techpb.com/?p=223" title="Ustream Show Mon-Wed 8 to 10 PM EST" target="_blank">TechPB Radio</a></li>
			</ul>

Just remove the target="_blank" on all the ones you don't want opening a new window. You get the drift.

Don't take this the wrong way but that site is very difficult to navigate (EDIT: The scroll window within a window is not cool). You should try and keep it simple and present the pictures in the gallery in a more user friendly way (EDIT: with arrows to go to the next picture instead of having to choose from small thumbnails on the side). Also, the pictures take a long time to load. Not sure if it's your host or if the pictures you are uploading are really big in file size. If it's the latter, then I would suggest uploading lower quality pics since you are not displaying them too big anyways. Just a suggestion.

In Topic: dye rotor vs. pinokio loader

05 October 2009 - 11:18 PM

Let me start off by saying that I have never used either hopper. However, I have seen them in use a lot and this is what I have observed:

Pinokio: Looks to me like it has a HUGE profile. The front of it is really high up and this is the only thing stopping me from getting this hopper.

Rotor: VERY small. However, almost everyone on my team has one and I always see people complaining about it jamming and using the little antijam trigger at the bottom.

I myself am undecided as to which one I will get. I love the rotor because of it's small profile and how extremely easy it is to take apart for cleaning but I do not want a hopper that jams when it gets humid (I live in florida). The pinokio is another option but I don't think I'd go with it simply because it is not as easy to fully take apart for cleaning as the rotor and it's size is bigger than my current hopper (Reloader B) so it would be sort of a regression.

That's my 2 cents.

In Topic: Gear Prices at World Cup

I think you are mistaking the prices of what the gear will be after World Cup. Once World Cup comes and goes all (majority) of the 09 gear will be reduced if it has not already been, this goes for older than 09 gear too.

Well I know all the old gear drops in price after Cup (that is when I bought all my gear last year), but I was told multiple times that prices AT cup were "amazing!"

Wow was I lied to or what!? <_<

I guess I won't be buying myself a DYE NT, DM10, EGO10, Rotor, and Pinokio at Cup. Bah Humbug.
