Ali was just saying, generally speaking you would prefer a wide angle lens for landscape. There are always exceptions, like how people remote rig behind basketball goals with wide angle lenses.

For now, I think the general rules is what he should be after.

There aren't specific settings. It depends on what you want to achieve.

Mostly keep your shutter speed above 1/500. Typically I would say 1/640 to be safe. Keeping it above that will freeze the player and will eliminate motion blur. So unless you are trying to achieve a panning, slow shutter speed shot don't shoot lower than 1/500.

Just can't seem to get it right...

If I could throw my .02 cents in there. Crop the dead space, or frame him a little differently. If you had been laying down/lower it would have been even better. However, it looks solid. Staying lower than the player's barrel is something I was told when I started shooting with Chrono300.com back in the day.

First time I've been a little disappointed with Planet in a while. I mean...releasing a "new gun" or at least version just for a regulator swivel+offset macroline elbow?

I mean...you can just pop a POPS on a Geo2, Ego9/10, etc. and have the macroline swoop down a bit. No biggy really, unless you've just gotta have both macro elbows so you never need to loctite stuff.

I don't see why people care so much. It's the same as the Geo+. They are trying to produce the POPS as the main ASA and reg collars. I don't see the point of having two separate parts to keep manufacturing, when the demand for the newer one is higher.

My Geo2 should have the .1 parts in soon though.
