Cp's are fine.

It's a pump, it's not like recharge rate is an issue.

Exactly, it's a pump so, you're never going to break a new reg in. You'd be better off getting an old ass WGP reg that's well broken in than a new CP. The CP will just be all over the place until it's broken in.

I like my CCM reg, but I got it used, so I couldn't say how consistent it was outta the box. The CP I had bought new was all over the place, though.

Also, before you go spending tons of cash on "overhauling" your gun, check how much it's gunna cost you. If you're gunna drop more than $300 just sell it and buy a CCM.

In Topic: Pumping at a scenario

I use a different setup just about every time I play, but the different setups I've played with for a scenario are:

68/45, 200rnd shake n bake
68/45, 50 rnd shaker
45/45, 150rnd shaker

Right now I'm dabbling with a 45/45 and a 50rnd shaker. I really dislike taking 10rnds to a scenario because they're slow to reload and easy to lose. If you can just take a single 100rnd pod and you should be set for awhile. The biggest thing about playing a scenario with a pump (that isn't AT'd) is that you can't engage someone from real far away. Any decent player will just sit and watch your balls fly by (I've personally done this to new pump players, even sitting out in the open just to be obnoxious). You need to suck dirt, sneak through places most people wouldn't even consider going through and on occasions haul ass to the nearest scrap of cover you can find. My best piece of advice is this: don't be afraid to just hit the deck and wait if someone starts shooting at you. It never ceases to amaze me how easy it is to avoid being eliminated by just dropping down on my belly.

It'd be neat to see a website dedicated solely to old school gear. Basically, you'd sell any kind of new or like new old school gear you could find. Things like Unique packs, Renegade gear, maybe refirbished PGPs, that kind of thing. Also, you could try your hand at reproducing some old products. V-neck camo jerseys, full shin/knee pads, camo head bands and such.
